Mobile Network Check (formerly Broadband Measurement/Dead Zone App)

The Broadband Measurement/Dead Zone App has received a comprehensive update with a new design and is now called the Mobile Network Check. The app has been fundamentally revised and redesigned.

The Mobile Network Check is provided by zafaco GmbH on behalf of the Federal Network Agency.

Speed ​​Test

With the Speed ​​Test function, you can test the locally available data transfer rate on mobile devices in just a few seconds. The measurement is independent of provider and technology. The results can be saved to your smartphone with location and time stamps.

Network Check

The Network Check function allows you to record the current network availability of your mobile network. The results are saved to your smartphone with location and time stamps and displayed on a map.

In addition, the individually recorded data transfer rates and network availability (no network, 2G, 4G, 5G) are transmitted to the broadband measurement system and incorporated into the public map displays in aggregated form.
