Submit invoices for private doctors, therapists, medical aids, and patient transport (only for ÖGK and BVAEB policyholders), use your digital e-card, view e-card data and co-insured persons, download your insurance data statement, and view doctor visits – all this is offered by the social security app. Securely, with ID Austria.

Submitting Invoices
BVAEB and ÖGK policyholders can use the app to submit all invoices for reimbursement. Simply launch the function in the app, take or upload a photo, upload documents from a folder, fill out a few form fields – and you're done.

If you have ÖGK insurance, you can also view submitted invoices and download confirmations.

Digital e-card (Android 12 and up)
With this service, you have your e-card with you on your smartphone for doctor's appointments or pharmacy visits.

Grant e-authorization
Grant e-authorization to a healthcare provider using the NFC function of your e-card. The e-authorization is valid for 24 hours. If your healthcare provider uses the e-authorization within this period, it grants them the same access to your health data as inserting or reading the e-card via NFC at the doctor's office.

View e-card data and co-insured persons
The app shows you where and for how long you are insured and who is co-insured with you. With the app, you can also conveniently view the insurance numbers of your co-insured persons, relatives, and children while on the go, as well as order a new e-card.

Insurance data statement
Need proof of your insurance periods? Simply download the insurance data statement in the app – with or without information about your salary. Just as you need it.

View doctor visits
Want to know which doctors you have recently used your e-card with? The app displays a list starting from the last quarter.

View prescription fee limit

The app shows you how many prescriptions you have already redeemed and how many more prescriptions you would need to qualify for a prescription fee exemption.

View benefit information
You can easily see in the app which costs your insurance has covered for you in recent years.
