1. Install "Google TTS" from the Play Store.
2. Go to Settings > Language & Input > Text-to-Speech (TTS) settings.
3. Change the preferred engine to Google TTS.
4. Go to Google TTS settings and install the (Japanese) voice data.
5. Check your device's media volume.

※ If the problem persists, try deleting and reinstalling the Japanese voice data.
