The program also contains the Orthodox Church Calendar with the dates of fasting throughout the year and an apostle for each day of the year. The Orthodox Church calendar automatically adjusts the movable holidays and fasts for each year according to Easter.

The Apostle is a liturgical book, which consists of the early works of the holy apostles and apostolic epistles.

There are three basic types of Apostles in liturgical use:

A full composition of the Apostle in which the text is presented in order from the Acts of the Apostles to the Epistle to the Jews. There are a total of 335 starts.

The short selection of the Apostle foresees readings for each day from Easter until Pentecost (Pentecost); Namely, the Acts of the Apostles, without individual chapters, and a passage from the Epistle to the Ephesians, started for Saturdays and Sundays from Pentecost to the Easter fast, started from the Epistle of St. Paul and the conciliar epistles, for the Saturdays and Sundays of the Easter fast, for all the days of Holy Week and, finally, it started from various epistles.

The complete election of the Apostle has begun for all days during the Paschal and spiritual periods, for Saturdays and Sundays during the Easter fast and for every day during Holy Week.

As for the rules of fasting, I leave it up to you to agree on the rules of fasting with your priest or parish priest.

I would kindly ask you that when you rate the application, look at all the overall effort, the interface - the appearance, the usefulness of the application and then rate it, and not immediately rate it with the unit because of one possible small mistake, because that will lower the rating of the application.
